VROOM VROOM survivors! I have to tell you about this wonderful little vacuum I got to review from my friends at AUDEW Professional automotive accessories. If you’re not familiar with them, I first reviewed one of their portable car jump starters, which is a fantastic item to store in a vehicle in case of a dead battery. They also sent me an awesome standing bike pump to review, you can check that out here. Today, however – we’re looking at the Audew cordless vacuum cleaner!
Designed for vehicles specifically, the Audew cordless vacuum cleaner is a great little tool to have to be able to effectively clean your car’s upholstery and floors. Of course, the utility of this vacuum isn’t limited to just your car. I have personally found it extremely useful for small messes when I don’t want to go haul / plug in the full floor vacuum, or for other instances when a regular vacuum is a little too large or cumbersome.
I’ve been using the Audew cordless vacuum a lot more than I initially thought I would – after all I have a great regular floor vacuum that I use regularly to clean the carpets in my home. However, the portability for me is the biggest benefit of this little vacuum. For example, my house has carpeted stairs, but the side runners of the stairs are all wood. For whatever reason, these get extremely dusty over time and having to use the regular vacuum to clean these areas is very awkward due to the hand rails and balusters of the stair case. However, cleaning this with the Audew cordless vacuum is a breeze as you can easily get it over and around the obstacles to clean the areas you are trying to get at.
The battery pack on the Audew cordless vacuum is sizable, and takes a good couple hours to charge fully – but the long charging time is fine with me because the battery delivers plenty of power for the unit. For ease of charging , you can disconnect the battery from the main vacuum unit and leave it to charge.
Cleaning out the Audew cordless vacuum is also pretty simple to do, the ‘holding tank’ is easily disassembled from the power portion of the vacuum and you can simply dump the contents into a trash can.
While this might not seem like a “survival” item in the true sense, I would remind you that one of the main tenants of being able to survive a situation is by keeping hygienic and clean – and anything that might help you to clean up messes and suck up some potential filth or dirt are a good thing! If you’re in search of a reasonably priced cordless vacuum, definitely give the Audew Cordless vacuum a look and let me know what you think about it!
Cheers Campers!
